Molly Ersland

Hailing from the land-locked state of Missouri, Molly had always wanted to live near the ocean. After obtaining a Bachelors degree in Journalism from The University of Missouri, she deciding to make that move.

Initially thinking she would stay for 6 months, the Virgin Islands lifestyle took hold and she didn’t want to leave. Molly had full intentions to work in the bar industry, but after a few weeks on island and a few helpful suggestions from locals, she started working on boats, both sail and power. She was hooked. After crewing on a variety of boats in the Virgin Islands for four years, she was ready for a new challenge and attended Captain’s School and received her 100 ton Masters License.

Molly has had the pleasure of working on a variety of boats during her career, including mega yachts. Yachting created opportunities to spend time working throughout the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Florida and New England, but the Virgin Islands is always her favorite! She is also a PADI Divemaster, an avid free diver, and spends most of her days off on or in the water.

With more than 10 years of Virgin Islands experience, Molly can take you to the best beaches and snorkel spots, show you the hippest bars and even give you a Virgin Islands history lesson! Whether you prefer to spend the day snorkeling, relaxing, sunning or cruising Molly can’t wait to show you with the best day of your vacation!
