A locals beach hiding in plain sight, Brewer Bay has some further hidden gems to offer. After an advanced hike up an old riverbed, trail hikers will reach a rocky outcropping where they are rewarded with an expansive view of Brewers Bay harbor and the airport.
On a clear day, gazers can even spot Vieques, an island off Puerto Rico, or all the way to the mainland of Puerto Rico itself!
After your hike, you can cool off in the water at Brewers Bay beach. Don’t forget your snorkel gear, though— the sandy shallows are a popular spot for turtle watching.
